NEWAIM Fiber Mill is owned and operated by Nancy Williams and Al Maloney. We raised alpacas for almost
10 years. We currently have a small herd of CVM/Romeldale sheep, which is a critically endangered breed. Our farm is NEWAIM Farm and we usually have around
15 sheep on the property. Nancy has been knitting since she was a child and hand spinning
since we bought our first alpacas in 1999. She now runs the fiber mill full time. I manage the farm
and run a web design business called Dog Bone Designs. We are both active in Maine
fiber related organizations. We spend many days each year at fairs and other events educating
the public about fiber animals and the benefits of natural fiber.
